Privacy Issues
I want to assure those visitors to my site that the information gathered here is never sold, rented or given to third parties. Privacy is a big issue and I based my privacy policy on guidelines set by the Online Privacy Alliance. The only information about yourself that is available to others is what you type in the Guest Book about yourself. This information is totally voluntary. Although most visitors are adults, there is no attempt to contact or gather information from children. The guest book will substitute "at" for the "@" sign in your email address to make it harder for robots to harvest email addresses.
Copyright Notice
I hope to publish a book of Children's Sermons one day and may use the site for that purpose. Therefore, I have a copyright notice to prevent someone from copying my work and selling it for a profit. These sermons may be used as a resource from any viewer free of charge. You may print them with the copyright attached for use in any Christian event. If you wish to copy them in whole or part in another web site please contact me for permission.
Email Mailing List
You can give your name if you want to, but nothing more than your current email address is required. I will not sell or provide this list to third parties. It is mailed as a Blind Carbon Copy to those on the list so no one sees any other email address. This is the best way to assure your privacy. Go to the Frequently Asked Questions page to join.
Cookies and Statistics
I do gather statistics on the site. The access logs use the IP address of your internet host server to determine what browser and version you use, what country you are from, your operating system, and the name of your domain server. It never reveals any personal information about individual users. It does give me feedback to help me design the site so the majority of users can benefit.
