We are Updating our links page and your site is on our list. Could you check
and make sure our sites are listed on your links list??? newest site is
www.mystory.ws. It is meant for evangelizing and comforting survivors of
divorce both adults and children. These folks the children especially suffer
deeply. What better
place to send them for help than the local church. The site is full of helps
for families who are truly
struggling.
The second link is a bit older and you may have it already but I could not
find it.
www.teachustopray.ws. So far this year it has been featured by The Salvation
Army, The
Wesleyan Advocate, Pentecostal Homelife, and three or four other magazines.
The parents guide
and prayer jar take homes are especially nice. Prayer like riding a bike or
reading is
something we learn. This site is a real help to parents and teachers alike.
If we have not
taught them to pray what have we taught them.
We actually have a site that is even newer than my story. It is a small
simple site called
www.youngreaders.ws and lists all of the serial fiction available to
christian parents. Like all our
sites it is to serve our christ and not to make money. If you want to buy a
book visit your local
christian bookstore.
Finally is our new ezine...Thought for the Month. It gives a simple a simple
monthly activity for
children's workers, usually a coloring page or activity. The Holiday
offerings are especially nice.

I am sooooo thankful for your site! I lead a group of about 30 little
salvadoran children in our AWANA program and my spanish is not that great.
Since they are so little, they are not quite in the program, but they come
for the teaching and the fun of the club.
So your translation page is a gift from heaven! Now I don't have to struggle
so much through a lesson...I can just use your sermon notes and teach away!
Thank you soooooo much.

Hey guys!
This site is absolutely fantastic!
I'm 15 and have just become a prefect at a Christian school, one of my
duties as a prefect is to do little assemblies for our form.
We get given assemblies written by the headteacher which, frankly, are very
dull and nobody listens to them.
We have been given the option to arrange an assembly ourselves, I am
strongly in favour of this idea, as I feel hypocritical asking the kids to
listen when I myself am yawning!
These sermons are great starting points for these assemblies. Thanks so much
for this website!

Thank you for taking your time effort by sharing
Bible Lessons and Free to boot. I teach Children's Church
in Titusville, Fl. We are a small church with limited
funds. I love to see other Christians share their
resources with others for free. I don't believe Jesus
would have charged a fee--would you? God gives to each of us
gifts and talents and although there is alot of work
involed--can we ever do enough for the Lord? We have no
support or funds for our Children's Ministry but God
always gives us plenty of resources. I just want to thank you
again. God Bless!

want the children
to learn about

It brings the lessons to a child's pace

Thank you so very much for providing this site. We have a children's sermon
every Sunday in church, and different adults volunteer to "preach" it. I
have tomorrow, and was looking for ideas, and just tried to search for "childrens
sermons" on the internet, and found your site. Wonderful!! I also do a
women's ministry one night a week, for senior women, and I think I will be
able to use many of your topics for that ministry also. Thanks again. God
bless you.
[Editor note: I also use them at an assisted living home ministry. If
adapted for age, they are a resource for all of God's children.]

Thank you so much for the ideas that are in your children messages.
I have been doing this for some time now and welcome fresh inovative
ideas. The children need the gospel more and more than ever before.
Society has bombarded them with so much that in order to get their
attention our methods must be exciting as well as spiritual.
So many times churches tend to over look the potential of a children's
time in the worship, and miss wonderful and Christ-led blessings from the
from these little ones.

This site has been such a blessing for me. Our church has children's story
hour each week. The lady who has been teaching the children is aging. She's
been teaching for over 25 years. Now, she asks approx. 4 people per month to
speak to the children. Alot will not volunteer because it is difficult to
stand in front of the church and speak or they can't come up with a strong
message as the original teacher did. I am asked at least 3-4 times a year an
am glad to say YES beacuse of this web site. Each time I use a message, it
always ties into the sermon. This is very beneficial for the children
because they are able to understand the bible in their terms and also get
pieces from the adullt sermon. Thank you for alowing God to use you. May God
bless you and your powerfull ministry.

I like to use children's time messages for the chidlren which will reinforce
God's Love, Mercy and Grace to them.
I hope to have them understanding that god;s love is for them and God is
with them at all times...loving them for who they are...because they are who
they are.
Each week I present them with a hand out that will help them remember what
the message was that week.
For example, on Pentecost, each child got a red helium filled balloon to
take home, and I asked them to
remember each time they held or looked at the baloon that the red symbolizes
Pentecost...the Holy Spirit coming down from heaven to be with us, and the
helium baloon symbolizes God's love and ever present spirit
which is with us at all times.
Many parents have told me they are amazed that their children remember what
each item was about...even three months after receiving it!
For this week (July 13, each child will get a piece of burlap, to remeind
them of what John the Baptist wore and what his job was.
