Hi Jim, What a wonderful site. Thanks for the nice e-mail back, though I had not looked into the site but signed the guest book, I did want to make a comment. I have been in children's work for over 50 years, doing gospel magic, puppets, music, (vocal as well as playing cow bells, Swiss bells and chorded cluster bells, I had a set of musical glass, (had to tune 10 of them each time), dip the fingers into vinegar, and play them) This was sweet music A young girl who was asleep woke to hear the glasses being played, said, 'Mother is that angel music". We did chalk art with black light in our early ministry, but came down with arthritis, and the Lord helped me to get into scene-o-felts, Mrs. Munn a wonderful artist, took some of the pictures that I did for our services, and place them on the felt pictures. I also had her pictures also. All my pictures had phantom effects in them, when I turned the black light on the hidden pictures would appear. also did vent and dramatic Bible stories. God has richly blessed our family for it was a family ministry, even though we worked in children camps, and crusades, our programs were family oriented. What attracted me to your site was the wonderful solid bible stories with your object lessons. I am now retired (67), from my business but I am still doing free-lance floral designing. We are now doing creative ministries seminars since we do not travel, for I have so much material that I love to pass it on for children workers, teachers, etc. We work with churches wanting to start a puppet ministry;, showing them how to use and make the puppets. There are women in the churches that can sew and this is an outlet for them to help in the puppet ministry by doing something worthwhile for the church. Since the prices has increased so much over the years on puppets, they can be made inexpensively. I have marked this site as one of my favorite so I can look into it often. I have visited both of your sites on several occasions but the thought of introducing myself never occurred to me. Now that I read of your challenges with cancer I feel compelled to speak. God Led Me to Your Website today. Thank you for your sermon from this past week. Your words about God's faithfulness in seeing our potential rather than "us" as we see ourselves really touched my heart. I am blessed with the opportunity to give five minute sermonettes each week to local high school sports teams before they go out and play. Have been doing it for about 10 years, felt I was running out of steam and had started thinking that perhaps I should give it up. You have helped inspire me to keep going at an even more active pace. After all, God has a design for each of our lives, if we will only tune in and discover what it is. Jim, I am praying for a complete healing. I believe that while I am praying on your behalf, someone will seek God on behalf of my father. He is nearly blind due to two dead arteries in his eyes. We are not claiming this report from the doctor because we believe God can heal. God is not finished with my father and his ministry of helps. We operate an outreach ministry: he built the puppet stage, pulls the trailer with all of our lighting, sound and stage gear. Our message is simple: salvation. My father is depressed a lot because of his condition. I pray you will be able to report a miracle in your life next time you update your site. Thank you for all of the great sermons.
