What is Alateen………. It is part of the Al-Anon family groups and is a
fellowship of young people whose lives have been affected by alcoholism
in a family member or close friend. We help each other by sharing our
experience, strength and hope with one another. We believe alcoholism is
a family disease because it affects all the members emotionally and
sometimes physically. Although we cannot change or control our parents,
we can detach from their problems while continuing to love them. We do
not discuss religion or become involved with any outside organizations.
Our sole topic is the solution of our problems. We are always careful to
protect each other’s anonymity as well as that of the alcoholic. We
apply the twelve steps of AA to ourselves and begin to grow mentally
spiritually and emotionally.
What happens at a meeting………….
Members get together to exchange ideas, offer one another support and
follow a program of recovery from the effects of living with an
alcoholic. Alateen will help you gain a better understanding of
alcoholism and show you how a changed attitude on your part to the
drinking will help you.

Greetings to you in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ , who
had paid great Price by shedding His Precious Blood for us to save and
make us His redeemed children. We are glad that you are serving the Lord
Jesus with whole heart and obeying His commandment of proclaiming the
word of the Gospel unto the unsaved.
My name is Emmanuel, I accepted Jesus Christ in the year of 1980, I
confessed my sins and became His child by His Grace . The Lord has put
in my heart great burden to serve in His kingdom to share the Gospel
among the unreached people. I and my wife with two children the Lord is
using us among the remote places. The Lord had promised us from Hosea 10
: 12 “…Break up your fallow ground…” in other words the Gospel should be
preached unto the places where the goodnews not yet reached. The Lord
had put burden in our heart and we are going to the remote places and
preaching the love of God and Salvation by His grace by conducting
meetings, particularly among the children in the remote villages. The
Lord is using us may ways, how greatful is He in helping us and using
us, least and useless vessels for His glory.
I request you to pray for us and support in this great ministry as the
Lord leads you. Please convey our salutations to you and your fellow
believers and saints. With your anticipation.
Thanking you,
Yours in His grace,
P. Emmanuel and ruth.
