Hello, and thank you for this wonderful service. I often give the Children's Message at my church. Your siteis the best I have found for Bible-based, fun messages for children. I am very happy to have discovered it. Thank you for all the work you have done! I have just one suggestion. I noticed in your sermon on heaven, "My Father's House" (#65?) you mention having visited Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina; and use it as an example of a large mansion. You also notethat the boardgame "Clue" is based on rooms in Biltmore House. I am a member of the curatorial staff there and wasinterested in your reference! I have never heard this aboutthe game "Clue" and the rooms in the mansion. The rooms do notcorrespond; for example there is no Ball Room inBiltmore House as there is in "Clue." Moreaccurate, but equally interesting information you couldprovide might be the fact that Biltmore House has 250 roomsor that a brick factory, sawmill and woodworking plant wereestablished to furnish materials used in the construction! Keep up the good work!Thank you.

[Editor reply: Thank you for the facts. I've updated the sermon.]

Your children's sermons are fabulous and have been a real help with the Sunday school lessons. We recently moved to new church, and I have been asked to help the Sunday schoolit has been a challenge. I know that God is using me to help this church and make his Word known. I am not only teaching the children but some of the teachers and leadership as well. I praise God that you have used this tool called a computer to help fellow Christians, helpfellow Christians. May God continue to bless and keep you.

Hi, May the Lord Jesus Christ Bless you richly for and in your ministry. I have only just discovered your site. However, I do anticipate a greater degree of visitation.
I do minister to the children at children's church, but don't find it all that easy. I feel though that you will have helped me a great deal here and will do so in the future.
Stay strong in Him.
Holy Spirit really is so good, leading me around cyber-space to find you on the web as I really did need a site such as yours.
Regards and love in Jesus.

You really don't know your history. The Pilgrims were horrid who stole from and killed the "Indians". They believed more in God than those buttoned up wretched pilgrims. Too bad the Indians helped them, they should've just boiled them up like those Jamestown settlers did. The only good thing about Thanksgiving is getting off work. I'm sorry you are so misguided, you need prayer and a history lesson for sure!!!

[Editor reply: Thank you. I need all the prayers you can give. Many atrocities and conquests have been committed by people of all faiths in the name of religion and I make no apology for them. The focus of the lesson you mention is being thankful to God and trying to live for him.]

I really do enjoy you're sermons!!! They are really goodespecially when you are try'n to a 2yr. old toddler to share and love one another. Well I also have three more toddlersthat I babysit for my cousins, while they work. I'm a house-wife and helping my granny raise my other cousins child, thatis the one I am teaching to love one another and to share with the one's that i babysit. I feel like everyone in myfamily is afraid to , or correct her in any way. So Iam the bad one to the toddler. My cousin is no mother to this child whatso ever and neither is the father. So now it's me and my grandmother to raise her. So I am gonna do the best I can do and pray everyday for an answer for all this concern in my family.

hi, my name is catherine, i am 16 years old and i live in texas.ive never been to this church, i dont even know where it is!but i have a question, if you can email me and tell me, id appreciate that, why do you say that if you give what you have, even if it is a little bit, god will appreciate it? yes you hound people about giving money and how thelord appreciates it? the church i WENT to here did the exact same thing, they had 6 stragith weeks about giving money to the church, but not one penny of this money was used towards good. none was donated to charity, none was sent to starving children, it wasnt even used for missions, they used it all to remodel the church!! this is why i quit going to that church, and although i have visited other churches, i havent founf ONE that i feel will offer the fellowship i want or i think i deserve. i think people that go to church allready know the lord wants them to give what they can, theres no need to go over and over it again. its disgusting, it seems to me, you people are in there to only get money. oh yeah, the church i went to before i lived here in san antonio, the preacher was found to be embezzling $5000 a month from the church. and i know, your thinking im a teen and my opinions probably dont matter, but listen. (this here is another reason i quit going to my old church) every church ive been too, alot of the teens in the youth group, they arent the perfect christinas they seem. i know for a fact that alot of them go get drunk on the weekends, and i have no reason to lie to you here, but i have never even tasted alcohol. so dont think im a stupid teen who has no idea what they are talking about. and this money issue, this is why alot of my friends claim to be "strongly atheist" when i invite them to go to church with me. thank you for taking the time to read this, please let me know why all churches are after your money, be realistic, dont lie to me either, i wont buy it if it is a lie, i just dont think its right.

[Editor reply: Jesus called the religious leaders of his day hypocrites and worse because they did things that kept others from entering into the kingdom of God. They bent the rules to their own benefit. Unfortunately, there are some religious leaders today that do that and worse, but NOT ALL of them. It is easy for anyone to look at other Christians and find faults because we all sin, but each of us is responsible for our own behavior and will give account one day. Some churches have ambitious building programs (and the debt that comes with it) and must make plans to pay their bills. But any building should only be a tool to enable the mission work of the church, not coddle the members. So no one should constantly appeal for funds. God owns everything, and he doesn't need our money. Our giving is out of love and a desire that the good news of Jesus gets spread around the world and in our community. I hope you will give a church in your area another chance. Don't give up on Jesus... He never gives up on you! Blessings, Jim Kerlin, author of ChildrenSermons.com]
