--We know Chang-Il from his school because I (Betty) am his school counselor.
Over these long months I have gotten to know the Kim family through
our shared faith in Jesus Christ. We know that God does miraculous
and powerful works in believers and our faith in Him prepares us
to receive his awesome and sovereign gifts of healing. Chang-Il
has amazed us because he is ever faithful and cheerful through the long process
of treating this disease. Once when he was told that a friend from out
of state was coming to visit and wanted to bring him a present, Chang-Il was asked
what gift he wanted his friend to bring. Chang-Il replied, "Tell him to bring his faith."
So friends, bring your faith and all of us will learn to wait
patiently for God's grace and healing.

We are a small congregation and my group is of mixed ages.
My youngest is seven and my oldest is 12. But they are

--I help out with our Wednesday night children's ministry. Yesterday I found your information on Chang il when looking for the Spice Girls sermon. I shared it with the lady who is in charge and she shared it with the kids. I was not able to help last week and so I did not realize we were talking about healing. What a perfect opportunity the Lord gave us to pray corporately and individually for Chang il. Please share with his family that our God is able to heal us and nothing is impossible with God. --I have really enjoyed using your children sermons for our children's time in our worship service. I believe my adults get more from it that the children. So far my favorite was the Twinkie Story. I change it around a little a gave 20 twinkies out to the children with the challenge to give the twinkie away. My adults laugh at that. Then I had they children give out 60 more twinkies to the adults and gave them the same challenge.

My brother also had a tumor and had surgery in Chapel Hill by a wonderful doctor. My brother's tumor was not cancerous and to God we give the glory. I will pray for your complete recovery and hope to hear good news.

--I'm a Sunday school director who knows Chang-il's story.
I'm praying for Chang-il everyday with great love and
compassion.
Even though I've never met him, God gave me heart
to cry for him in prayer.
I cannot imagine how difficult it would be as a young kid
to get through this hardship, but amazingly,
Chang-il shows us great faith in Jesus.
Surely his faith reveals the unfailing love of Jesus
in his heart and challenges us.
I do put my faith in Jesus on this child's life.
Jesus is our Savior and Chang-il knows it now, and he will
experience this himself.
My Sunday school kids are praying for Chang-il very hard,
and I hope this can also comfort Chang-il because God
answers little kids' innocent prayer quickly.
I picture the day when Chang-il healed completely, and being
surrounded with other kids who prayed for him.
This day would be the greatest day for kids, and us.
Please don't be discouraged, and let's pray more and more
until we see the day.
