--I have been doing the Children's message at Nameoki United Methodist Churchin Granite City, IL for the past three years or so. We have a group of four very dedicated messengers who provide the sermon on a rotating basis. I have been blessed in the endeavor. I must say that it has not been easy. God does whisper into my ear and provides me with words to say. But sometimes, being the flawed human that I am, I don't hear clearly or I am deaf altogether to what I am being told. This site can serve for me and the others on the team as a recorder of God's words to others. I am noticing that some messages that I have delivered in the past are here on your site in some form or fashion. This serves as a clear example to me that God does speak to those who listen. He has been sharing children's messages with others as well as with me. I will tap into your site in the future, share it with others, and I hope to contribute to the list myself. Praise God for the internet and rapid communication among and between His people!

It's great, but at times very difficult to come up with good ideas to keep the kids attention. Props and a good story always work best. The best reward is to have a 4 year old remember what has been said, and I love to let the kids close us out in prayer - I refer to it as, "Prayers of Innoncence."
